FINE FURNITURE
At Clermont we provide a bespoke fine furniture service, delivered by our passionate team of designers and joiners who have over 20 years’ experience in furniture making. We undertake commissions for hand made pieces of furniture from a very broad range of clients and whether their preferred style is contemporary, traditional or completely unique we work closely with them throughout every stage of the project.
Design Process
The commissions that we take on are primarily made to order therefore we will organise an initial consultation at your home where we will be able to get a better idea of your requirements. We will be able to look at important aspects such as the current room proportions, light and style in order to ensure your piece of furniture will fit in to its surroundings and formalise a clear brief with you prior to starting the design process.
The process will include the creation of 3D visuals and detailed 2D working drawings to enable your to visualise your piece of furniture as well as discussing the the finer details including style, timber of choice and finish.
The design process provides the stepping stone towards creating the piece of furniture of your choice. As the process evolves we will present our design to you in person for final approval prior to designating one of our skilled team to start working on your commission.
Manufacture
We take great pride in our handmade pieces of furniture and the standards of craftsmanship that we provide for our clients. We will select from our experienced team the craftsmen who would be best suited to your project relative to his or her skill set.
You will be updated with photos at each stage of the project and we can arrange a workshop visit if you would like to experience how our team creates your bespoke furniture.
Finishing & Quality Control
Our team of designers and joiners are all highly-trained and selected with the right skills to make sure that your piece of furniture is made to high standard. We have an extremely broad knowledge and experience of working with the highest quality materials and their finishes.
We also have a team of project managers who are there to make sure the construction process is fluent and our standards are met at all times. Through our quality control procedures and vigorous project management we ensure that each project is delivered to our clients with a finish and quality that they will be proud of.
